Coxreels 100W Series "Welding" hand crank hose reels are lightweight, compact, and versatile. Save time and effort while increasing the safety of your work environment. The sturdy "U" shaped frame and all steel construction make this one tough reel.

What our Experts Think
  • Built for welding efficiency & safety
The Coxreels 112W‑1‑100 is part of Coxreels’ 100W Series designed specifically for oxy‑acetylene welding hose management, helping keep hoses organized and reducing workplace tripping hazards.
  • Heavy‑duty construction
Its solid U‑shaped all‑steel frame and powder‑coated finish provide durability and corrosion resistance in busy shop, garage, or industrial environments.
  • Smooth manual retraction
The direct hand crank and composite bearings ensure easy winding and unwinding of your twin 1/4″ oxy‑acetylene hoses, reducing operator fatigue.
  • Professional‑grade swivel & sealing
Features an external 90° dual ported brass swivel with Viton seals for smooth gas flow and reliable connections, making hose routing and service simpler.
  • Rated for everyday workshop use
Designed for up to ~200 PSI working pressure with 100 ft capacity of twin welding hose, it’s well‑suited to most welding and cutting tasks.
  • Versatile mounting options
Can be wall, floor, or vehicle‑mounted, letting you position it where it’s most useful while keeping hoses neatly stored.

Q&A

Q1: What is this hose reel designed for?
A: A hand crank welding hose reel made to hold up to 100 ft of 1/4″ twin oxy‑acetylene welding hose with a working pressure up to 200 PSI — ideal for welding shops, service trucks, or industrial setups.

Q2: Is the hose included with the reel?
A: No — the reel is supplied without hose. You’ll need to install your own 1/4″ × 100′ twin welding hose to match the reel capacity.

Q3: What type of retraction mechanism does it use?
A: It features a manual hand crank, giving you simple, controlled rewind without springs or motors — ideal where reliable manual operation is preferred.

Q4: What are the key build and durability features?
A: Built with a heavy‑gauge U‑shaped steel frame, dual‑ported brass welding gas swivel with Viton seals, CNC‑spun discs, and a composite bearing for smooth rotation and long life in heavy use environments.

Q5: Where can it be mounted?
A: Supports floor, wall, or vehicle mounting, offering flexibility for shop floors, service bays, trailers, and more.

Q6: What are the specs and dimensions?
A: Rated up to 200 PSI, with external 90° swivel and Viton seals, dimensions around 12″ L × 18.75″ W × 13″ H, and weighing about 37 lb without hose.

Maintenance Tips
  • Keep reels clean: Wipe frame, drum, and swivel free of dirt, metal shavings, and welding debris to prevent abrasion and corrosion.
  • Inspect swivel & seals: Check the 90° brass swivel and Viton seals for leaks or stiffness; replace worn seals to maintain smooth hose rotation.
  • Lubricate moving parts: Lightly oil the hand crank shaft and bearings periodically so the reel winds and unwinds effortlessly.
  • Check tension brake: Ensure the adjustable brake operates smoothly and is set to prevent unwanted hose unwinding during use or transport.
  • Inspect hose condition: Examine the twin welding hose for cracks, cuts, or weakening; replace damaged hose to avoid leaks and pressure loss.
  • Secure mounting: Tighten wall/floor/vehicle mount hardware to minimize vibration and wear on fittings.
  • Store dry: Keep the reel in a dry, ventilated area when not in use to reduce rust and extend lifespan.
